The Youth Climate Movement

or International Youth Climate Movement refers to an international network of youth organisations that collectively aims to inspire, empower and mobilise a generational movement of young people to take positive action on climate change.

WESDE in partnership with YOUNGO

will host specific activities dedicated to young people as part of the fight against climate change at the upcoming COY Conference.

Some of the activities planned include panels on renewable energy solutions for off-grid communities, skill-building workshops on eco-friendly agriculture practices, and discussions on advocacy strategies for climate policy reforms. The goal is to empower the youth to lead sustainable development initiatives in their communities.
