WATER ENERGY AND SANITATION FOR DEVELOPMENT

The Environmental Management Centre WESDE (which stands for Water Energy and Sanitation for Development) is an environmental and sustainable development NGO whose activities fall under three main components: Component :

Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), Component

Promotion and Popularization of Renewable Energies (PVER), Component

Multisectoral Sanitation (ASMU), divided into 3 sections: ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH, EDUCATION.

To be a dynamic organization, open to the world, initiator of AGR thus ensuring its organizational stability and its participation in its financial autonomy in order to ensure the sustainability of its programs. A few guidelines can help achieve this: Development of the capacities of the populations in order to facilitate their involvement in the permanent search for a decent, harmonious and environmentally friendly way of life.

=> Increase the percentage of the population with sustainable access to a drinking water supply and then significantly improve the sanitation, hygiene and housing conditions of disadvantaged populations,

=> Reverse the current trend of loss of environmental resources and raise awareness of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals for better implementation

=> Train, educate and raise public awareness about the sustainable management of water resources and the protection of the environment

=> Support the community in the fight against virus diseases (HIV/AIDS, Ebola, COVID, etc.) and neglected tropical diseases (Noma, ) in order to stop its spread and reverse the current trend,

=> Contribute to the implementation of the United Nations Conventions on the fight against desertification, climate change, and on biological diversity,

=> In cooperation with national and international organizations, develop and maintain partnership, exchange and learning relationships

Training on the financial procedures of AFD and DISOP / VIA-DB, Belgian NGO, Training in financial management according to CRS & USAID on « risk management and compliance / Risk and compliance ».

Assistant program supervisor for the establishment of community health mutuals in 14 health areas in the health districts of Méri, Mokolo, Kaélé, Guider, Roua. Animator responsible for supporting communities in the establishment and development of mutual health insurance in 06 health areas of the MERI Health District (Douroum, Douvangar, Manguirdla, Godola, Kalliao, Doulek).
